we stuck this in a raised bed in mid spring. this thing is huge. getting ready to come in for the winter.

It's beautiful. I don't think I have ever seen a white one.

You reminded me that I need to dig up an amaryllis!

Beautiful. I've never been able to get one to rebloom after the initial bloom. They always look so pretty in the store and once home but after that it's always been down hill for me. What's your secret? How long have you had that one?

we bought the plant at home depot early spring, i think. my wife just stuck it in one of the front raised beds by the house. it is shady there. no special treatment. biggest one i have ever seen.

As a house plant, I know they like it cool. I haven't got them to rebloom either. The foliage is pretty. They are prone to rot so you also have to watch not to let that corm or whatever it is sit in too much moisture.
