put this together today. read about this on the propagation forum. hope it works. loaded it with 15 gardenia and 5 yellow jasmine cuttings.

If you are oxygenating your nutrient solution with an aquarium pump or similar pump you should have good results. I have built several of these for my own use and for friends. Everyone has been amazed at the quick root growth.

That thing looks useful. The instructions were clear except the part about a wet/dry cycle because of the timer. Are the cutting bottoms sitting a little above the water or down in the water?

helen- the wet cycle is when the timer is on for the air pumps and off when it is dry. i think, when the pump is on it forms air bubbles that burst that create a mist. the cuttings should not be in the water or you will not have a dry cycle.
