Forsythia

I have never had this happen before. This seedling forsythia is in full gold fall color and is still in full bloom. I think I like it better than with green leaves and blooms in the spring.

Very strange. We had wet weather this year, but there were dry spells in fall. I wonder if they went kind of dormant and "think" it is spring.

Very showy! If it did that every year, I think you could have it patented. : )

I think it is just in its second year. I will be watching it next year.
