A Good Use For Tomatoes

I ran upon this website today and this tomato cobbler looks absolutely yummy. I know it's probably kind of off-topic, but I thought of those of you who had an over-supply of tomatoes this year, and wished I did too. But I have some canned tomatoes I might use to give this recipe a try.

We are having rain today, supposed to get about a week of cold weather and some rain/snow mix or sleet. Oh, goody.

So far here in Joplin, we haven't gotten any ice or even real rain that I know of. Just drizzle. Let's hope it wasn't bad for anyone.

Tomato Pie, recipe from Smitten Kitchen, is what I intended to make this summer, but didn't The recipe for cobbler sounds wonderful, Ilene. Please let us know how it turns out with canned tomatoes. If it's good, I may try it.
