cherry tomato question

| I have been looking up tomatoes to make my list for the winter sowing offer. I really don't like cherry tomatoes, but so many people like sungold. (It is not on Trudi's list) Will sungold live up to the hype? My sister had a cherry tomato on a trellis near her back door. That is a good idea because you just pick a few as you go in and out or grab some for a salad. My friend in Joplin likes cherry tomatoes so I am going to plant one or two in his yard and one or two in mine. Reisentaube wasn't bad and I still have some of those seeds. Is sungold better and worth tracking down? |

It would be for me; it is a super sweet golden little tomato. I think I got mine from Pinetree Seeds. I should have saved some, but it returned from dropped fruit for a couple of years....didn't this year. I wouldn't say better, just golden and very sweet. glenda |

| Thanks Glenda. This weather is making me sleepy or is it my wood stove which is a little too warm. I have accomplished nothing today. |
