A few pictures from this Morning

I took a tour of the yard and garden early this morning and took a few photos. Found a few bloomers and another mess of turnips. I love them raw as a snack which I had as soon as I came in. All are clickables.

Helen, note the bed of lamium. It doesn't photograph well but it still has a scattering of blooms.

Thanks for the pictures. Carrots in a wine barrel sounds interesting. I have parsley and swiss chard in pots for ornamentals. I think carrot tops might be kind of pretty. I don't like cooked turnips but eating small ones fresh might be an idea for me. I have noticed the petunia and flowering tobacco foliage thriving in this weather.

Nice pictures Glenda! I especially like the one of your petunias. Lots of flowers!
