Missouri Dept. of Conservation Seedling order

I ordered deciduous holly today online. They send you a card in spring and you don't pay until they send the bill.

Here is a link that might be useful: order form is here

Tempting Helen. It's such a good deal. I ordered Persimmon trees and Buttonbushes last year and still have some of those in a temporary spot. I guess I shouldn't order more stuff until I get all of those taken care of. I've been looking through the list though. : )

If one plant grows it is worth the money. You need a borderline wild area for most of their stuff. I have a long wild driveway probably 1/10 mile long but the soil is pure rocks. It is not the place for fussy plants.
I saw a small tree with red berries last year that made me want the deciduous holly, My order from last year is also in temporary quarters because of the rotten weather. Today was nice for working when it wasn't raining. The thunder got me out from under trees. I went over to the farm and got some rotten wood chips, coarse sand/tiny gravel from the creek and a little old hay. It gets dark so early that I didn't get it unloaded.
