Where are you ordering from?

I've been looking though my seed catalogs and online at a couple other sites.

I am waiting for Sandhill Preservation center to get out their 2010 list of tomatoes. I am trying not to order seeds other than tomatoes until I plant what I have. I may order some drought tolerant seeds like butterfly weed since I had that brain wave this morning. I have the will power of an addict.

I already have my orders from Southern Exposure Seed Exchange and Baker Creek and like helen, I am waiting for Sandhill before ordering op corn.

I ordered from Park and swear to never do it again. My onion seeds are still not here! They did the same thing last year.

I'll order some herb seeds from Baker Creek.
I always ordered my seeds from Pinetree seeds in Maine. They were econmical and relable.
I agree Park seeds don't compare to some other companys.
Had'nt heard of Sandhill seeds. You seem to like them so must be good.

I hadn't heard of Sandhill or Southern Exposure. I'm getting several catalogs but I'm sure there are MANY that I haven't heard of.
Pinetree has the 'Cheddar' cauliflower that I want to try. I got a catalog from them but I can't find it. I've been looking on their website which is Superseeds.com. I haven't ordered from them before so I'm glad to hear that they're reliable.

No, I have never used Sandhill Preservation but the folks on the Oklahoma forum are very much into heirloom and op seeds and that is what Sandhill does, preserve seeds and rare chicken breeds. They do have the corn I think I will be trying for grinding, feed and whatever, Reid's Yellow Dent, but I won't give them much longer to update. Others have it too.

I think Pinetree raised their shipping this year...I haven't ordered from them and don't think I will need to this year.

I have received seeds from Value seeds. I'm still looking and wishing. Sure is nice to get catalogs in the mail and think there will be growing plants before long. I have ordered from Parks the last couple years and have trouble getting them to germanate so don't think I will try them again. I know others must be ok with them or they wouldn't stay in business. I think we're going to go with Seed Savers Exchange this year for tomatoes and a few other veggies, and the standby stuff we'll pick up at the farmer's co-op. Then next year, I'll try saving the seeds (not skilled at that yet) and then I can add more heritage types.
