I like to buy small inexpensive evergreens to put in with my violas. Eventually they get big without much care. The junipers don't take much water. Click to enlarge. and are tough. |

| What a good idea. When they get larger, do you move them to a spot in the yard? |

| So far the evergreens haven't out grown the tubs. They grow slowly. I have planted other kinds of small shrubs in tubs with annuals so they will not be forgotten in the summer. Several of those are big and still in their tubs and some have been planted in the garden. |
