| It's time again for the spring plant swap at Hibernia Park. It will be held on Saturday, April 22nd at 9:00 a.m.. Unfortunately, the Parks are insisting on written pre-registration, so you may call the park for a form at 610-383-3812 or download from www.chesco.org
I'v been going to this for years and always find something interesting. Last fall I told myself that I was only going in order to humanely dispose of some extra plants....but of course I came home with some new things.
You should have your plants labeled. Most people pot up what they bring, but there are also bags and buckets full of things that you take a handful out of, so I bring plastic bags and buckets of my own.
It is a very informal swap. You set out your things and then when told it is time you walk around and pick up things that you would like. |
