Deer are worse than ever this winter

This year these destructive demons have been worse than ever. Although Hellebores are said to be deer resistant, I have lost all the foliage on several, and many seedlings have been pulled up by the roots( bare rooting hellebores in winter is not a good idea, I hope they survive replanting). I check twice a week, and replant them, but expect to lose many. They have totally eaten the woodland spurge to the ground, and even lychnis coronaria, one of the furry plants they generally ignore, has no leaves left. Yesterday topped it off, when I discovered they had pawed up the ground in my snowdrop patch, and were eating the bulbs. The only things still untouched are Digitalis and Stachys.
