I need a plant store, can you recommend?

| good morning,
wondering if there are any just plant stores around the northeast? i recall jill's plants, but i think that is out of business. a few florists sell plants, but just typicals. another one was down south philly, can't remember exactly where, but that's no longer.
i'm looking for houseplants, not something walmart sells. are there any plant stores left?

| There are no good plant stores around me, but I have found that if I keep a watch on Lowes, and catch them just as a new shipment of house plants come in, there will often be at least a few unusual goodies. The trick, of course, is to get there before the Lowes workers kill them. |

| rhody, yes, i know ott's. i don't know why i didn't think of them. a little bit of a hike, so i'll call first to make sure they have exactly what i want (present for someone). gazania, i'll have to get the plant delivery schedule at lowe's and check them out, at least they are a little closer. i miss jill''s plants, what a gorgeous selection. thanks for your responses. maryanne |

| I don't know if they have orchids or if it's near you but Primex is in Glenside they have alot of different plants and things |
