What's Up With Phillie and Millie?

The goundhogs appeared in mid-January so they won't be celebrating Groundhog's Day. I've never seen them above ground so early.

They even came out of the hole in the snow this past weekend. When I see them, they still look pretty hefty. They didn't seem to go into their hole for the "Winter" until December.

This is the first I've seen them out so early since I moved here in 2004.
