Oh man... talk about a gardening nightmare...

Now, I know that's a regular cliche, and I'm sure you've heard it before in some context or other -- you know, like "That ivy was EVERYWHERE! What a nightmare!"

But what I'm talking about is THE REAL THING!

Yep, last night I had an honest-to-Pete *nightmare* about my garden! It seems I suddenly realized it was mid-summer, and NONE of my plants had come up! I remember thinking that not only had I missed spring bulbs, but since nothing had sprouted by now, all the perennials must be dead too! My God, even the hostas! How could this be?!?

Sheeeeewwwww!! It was just a dream.... ahhh.

OK, so how weird does that make me? :)

C'mon, fess up... anybody else have garden nightmares -- the while-sleeping kind??

(BTW, to be fair I have to add that I have also had pleasant garden dreams on occasion. For now, I'm just dreaming of spring, waiting for that seed order to arrive, and hoping those impatient crocuses don't regret popping their heads up as early as they have!)
