i got angry with my flower beds last fall and dug everything up. I had intended to replant the tulips but I just kept putting it off now it's the middle of March and they are still in the bucket in the basement. When do I plant them now???

RE: tulip bulbs

The ideal time to plant tulips is in the late fall, but you still might have success if you plant them now. If you're ground is still frozen you could plant the bulbs in individual pots indoors to let them get a head start. That's how they were selling them at the nursery yesterday. Harden them off, and place them outdoors once you can work your soil. Good luck!
