| I live in extreme northcentral PA, and am looking to plant about 15 lilac bushes. Any suggestion as to what will grow quickly, get quite large and smell heavenly? My husband and I visited the lilac festival in Rochester, NY last year and were inspired. It's held in mid-May and is absolutely spectacular. |

| A good simple source for lilacs is to take cuttings from the local area. Most folks won't mind providing you with a few root cuttings from their existing plants just for the asking |
