How early can I plant potatoes? Also first time planting Kale

Located just east of Harrisburg, PA. Last year I planted potatoes in early May and it went great, but I'd like to get them in earlier this spring. I would like to plant them in mid-April, would that be reasonable? Growing Yukon Golds and Dark Red Norlands.

It will also be my first time growing Kale, can I plant that within the next two weeks along with the spinach and broccoli? Input is appreciated. The potatoes are my priority, though. Thanks

I'm about an hour north of Harrisburg, I plant my potatoes around the second week of april with no problems, Not sure about kale as I don't plant it but I do start my spinach the first week of april with broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower.
