PSA:
I went to a local Lowes yesterday and they had 4" pots of tulips that hadn't bloomed yet, in fact they were only about 5" high, same as the tulips coming up in my garden for $0.25 each. |

| Wow, ya can't beat twenty-five cents each. I got a good price at Home Depot a few days ago... one gallon blue juniper trees for $6.99 each. They're only about a foot high, but I loved that price. |

| Lowes is the best; they reduce expensive perennials to $1.00 and all other type of flowers, from .10 up. I built my gardens with these bargains. |

| Lowe's and Home Depot plants are as good as their watering habits. These big box stores have a tendency to water infrequently, causing the roots to take up water and then dry out, killing any hair roots trying to establish. Hate to be a spoil sport, but by buying from these people, local nurseries may well go out of business; leaving only Lowe's and Home Depot to provide diversity of species. |
