If we had had a "normal" spring, I would have put mine out here around St. Patrick's day (which I was able to do from 2002 and before). The past couple years, my soil has either been too frozen or soggy and since I always sowed directly, I wouldn't see anything until about the end of April.

If they are already sprouted indoors, you might want to give them a week or so to get past this awful weather. They can usually take some freezing (I watched my last year's leftover sweet peas still green and growing even after a few single digit night temps... but then extended teens finally did them in by January). Since you mention it, I should go on and sow some outside next week myself.
