What have you done in your garden so far this year?

We just moved into our home this winter and it's a pretty blank slate. I haven't really had much yardwork/cleanup to do which is nice, but we worked a little in the bulb garden and laid out the area we'll be turning into beds this year. I hope my husband gets me compost soon so I can lay down my newspaper I've been collecting and kill the grass before it gets too out of hand and so I can start planting in May :)

We are greening up little by little here in the NW corner of PA. I've noticed some leaves starting on my lilacs and just today I see my little purple crocus flowering. Spring is coming!
