anemone de caen -- your experience?

I adore anemone de caen as a cut flower and bought a number of corms at the Philly Flower Show. I've started them under lights in my basement and they're going great guns. I'd like to hear from other local gardeners what luck you've had with the flower in this area. I know they're not considered hardy, but the seller said if I mulch them well they can overwinter outside.

Also, seller said to plant them in light shade. Looking at information online about them, I'm getting a lot of inconsistency on that matter. Some sites say anemones need full sun, some part shade, and some full shade.

So--any wisdom to share? Have you grown them successfully? If so, where, and how do you treat them over the winter?

Many thanks!
