Heads up....may want to cover already planted sensitive plants.

I WAS going to get a start on the veggie garden today, but it seems that it could get as low as 36. I kind of hope for frost free weather from the start of May, but.....kind of sad, considering the extremely short pathetic growing season here in sw-pa. May-Sept. ( If you count the "official" growing season as May 15-20th or, wow we live too far North and have to start as late as Memorial Daya???@@##!!)

Not a winter or fall guy AT ALL, but family doesn't want to move.

Our forecast is for 27 tonight! I've covered a few things, but no way can I protect everything that is blooming :-( Happens just about every year...I should be used to it by now!

I'll tell you what. This region is a nice area, great people, great sports teams, but the weather is something to be .....how do I say it....... "MEH". You could say that I'm zone challenged. If this were as cold as it got all year long in this area, it wouldn't bother me. But when we only have so few precious months to grow stuff, every day counts. Now, according to weather.com 33 is the low tonight. Now, the lucky people such as my brother in law and uncle get to have 68 for a low tonight in Tampa....... Gotta work on the wife a bit to get movin!!!! : )

Brrrrr! We had scatterd frost again last night here, at the foot of the mountains! The night before last I thought I covered everything, that needed it. Late y'day afternoon I noticed the tips of the leaves on my hydrangeas, were "burned".....

Mark my word! Watch and see what happens....the week after next will be so hot and humid, I won't be able to stand it! No thoughts of moving...s.w. Pennsylvania, good or bad, is "Home Sweet Home"!
