Experience with Endless Summer or Forever and Ever Hydrangeas

Does anyone have experience with these in southeastern PA? How tall and wide will they get? Can they tolerate full sun if kept moist?

I have a number of mophead hydrangeas on a bank in full sun. They grow well but die off each winter being exposed to winds. I tried covering them and that helped some but not much.

I was thinking to replace them with either the Endless Summer or Forever and Ever Hydrangeas. Atleast this way if the old wood dies off I'll still get blooms on the new wood.

I have looked at the sites for each of these but I would trust personal experience over their fact sheets.

Any help would be great. Thanks!

Jim

RE: Experience with Endless Summer or Forever and Ever Hydrangea

I've had Endless Summer Hydrangia now for 3 years. It is about 3 feet tall and wide and blooms every year. It is on the North side of my house so it gets sun from about 1Pm on. I live near Philly in Zone 6b. I like mine very much and it never has given me a problem so far. I'm not really sure how big it will get!
