Is it Drought Time already?

I'm in the south west corner of the state. I am noticing that the grass and weeds are starting to almost dry up! We haven't gotten any rain for about a week now, and no real rain in the forecast. I read online that the weather is supposed to get cold in a day or so. What is with this crazy weather?! Anyone else having to water their plants a lot as well?

Here in the southeast PA area we haven't had rain for over 13 days. We had a quarter of an inch on May 1 and had over 6 inches in April. After 2 weeks with no rain people in the East and plains states yell drought. People in the West irrigate. They yell drought if they run out of irrigation water. We expect 3 inches of rain every month. The don't expect any rain for 3 or 4 months in the summer in areas like San Francisco, Oakland, Portland, Seattle, Juneau, Vancouver, and Victoria.

It sure seems dry here in Bucks county, the soil is cracked and powdery in spots. Of course the trees have all finally leafed out, just in time for this dry spell. We had a little bit of rain over the weekend, with more in the forecast. Hopefully it'll come soon.
