Crocus Blooming, now?

I was checking out my gardens today (as usual) and I noticed a white flower I didn't see yesterday. It looks like a crocus bloom (just a bit smaller) and it is coming out of what looks like crocus leaves. I didn't know that there was a crocus that bloomed this time of year? Plus I didn't know I had one like that either. Anyhow I was just really surprised to find that, and thought I'd share.

If the crocus sits in a place were it does not get a lot of sun it will bloom late. In my own shady yard the daffs bloomed before the crocus and the grape hyacith were the last to boom.

Could it be a Star of Bethlehem flower? They match your description, and they are blooming now here in Philly. Actually, they are QUITE weedy here (invasive), but I don't know if they have encroached upon your area (yet). I forgot the scientific name for this thug. Begins with an 'O', I think...

Yes it is the Star Of Bethlehem, I figured that out this past weekend. I was looking for plants on ebay and it looked just like what I had. I didn't know they were quite weedy though. How do they spread? I actually wouldn't mind a small garden of them this time of year, but I could see how they'd be annoying when not in bloom.
