I grow a bountiful texensis that flowers from now thru fall. I have tried several of the bigflowered ones which never last more than a few seasons without succumbing to something. But the texensis keeps getting bigger every year.

Springcherry, do you grow the species texensis? There are hybrids of texensis. Of all the species in that group ( viorna subgenus), I've found texensis the most challenging.

I'll post pictures of some of my plants.

Where do you get these? I've never heard of them before but think they sound like something I would like to add to my gardens. Carol, would love to see pictures.
