| could this be due to rabbits, deer, groundhogs??? The plants are near the woods behind the deck of my pool and they were just about to start budding and BAM---gone!! I am disgusted..what can I do to deter this from happening again??

| It could be deer if you have them. Spray them with one of the deer sprays on the market and that should help. It stopped them from devouring my phlox. They don't touch my roses but I know they do a lot of damage to the bushes of friends. |

| It could be devil bunnies too. They are furry vacuum cleaners. |
