Are all Crabapples safe to eat? Need some recipes.

Hi,

Are all crabapple trees safe to eat? I have a Summer Sweet crabapple and am looking for some good recipes to use the crabapples that are growing. They are safe to eat, right?

Thanks,

Michelle

When I was young, my father and I used to make crabapple jelly. That stuff is awesome. I'm not sure how easily I can find the recipe around here, and he has since died, but I'll look to see if I can find it for you; if this is something you'd be interested in.

Stacy.
