We just had a street fair for our local library and I was in charge of the plant sale.No,no regulations. Just get your plants,make sure they're labeled and maybe organize them into categories,like herbs,annuals,perennials etc.People really like to see plants in bloom if at all possible. When will you be having this sale?

Oh, I'm thinking about doing something next spring. I'm going to start sowing some perennials this summer and maybe I can do some annuals over the winter. I really don't know how many women in the group garden. None of us really have much time, but I'm sure there are enough that can give a few divisions of things. And DH and I received a color photo printer for Christmas, so I was thinking I could print out pictures of the perennials in bloom to demonstrate what they look like.

I'm really excited about it, but I know it's only a matter of time before my DH knocks me back into reality. He's the practical one in the family!

Printing them out is a good idea. There is a big arts festival here in July and I help sell plants there. I usually print out pictures just like you mentioned and tape them to 1/2 of a shish kabob stick and put it into the pot. People really like seeing photos. Another thing you can do is just cut them out of plant catalogs.
