| I am looking for some advice. I have a 4 x 4 brick landing on the side of my house (that the old owners used as a place to store trashcans) that a potted tree would look great on. Does anyone have advice as to where I could find a box, pot or something that is in the 3 x 3 range to plant the tree in.
Also - do I need to insulate the planter so that the roots do not freeze in the winter? |

| Do you live in Lancaster? If so, Stauffer's has lots of large containers for potted trees. Also, other garden centers have them, too. You could ask at the garden center about protecting the tree roots over the winter. |
