Hose pots?

Does anyone here store their hose in a hose pot? I think they look so much nicer than having the hose hanging on a hose hanger. My hose is next to my back door and it's where everyone goes in and out. I wonder if they are practical or they end up being a nuisance to wind the hose in them every time you use it. What has your experience been?

I have stored a hose in a hose pot, in the Southwest. They are nice, though the hanger does seem to provide easier access.

Thank you. That's what I needed to know. Maybe a more decorative hose hanger is the answer.
