Worried About Pin Oak

I have a pin oak I planted 6 years ago when I moved into my house. It has almost doubled in size (now about 8-9' tall) since planted and until about one week ago, it has been a beautiful, healthy tree.

A few days ago I went outside and noticed the tree was crispy! And the leaves were curled. It has been very hot and dry for more than two weeks so I expected it to be droopy, but crispy?

Has anyone else experienced this? Can this be the end for my tree?

With temps close to 100, no rain, and I assume that you have not watered it - It went from droopy to crispy real fast.
Soak it ASAP. You may be able to save it.
