Are there any hostas that don't have flowering spikes that would be good for underneath trees. One tree is a Japanese cheery (like the White House) has, and has drooping limbs. Some sun gets through. The other tree is a Hybrid Poplar and gets full sun in the late afternoon/evening hours. Morning hours the sun is behind the trees and is shielded by a field of tall grass/weeds. I planted ivy underneath another tree in the back of the house and that's doing well, but I'd like something different for the front of the house.
