Caryopteris 'Summer Sorbet', a winner with me. Full sun, will take dryness. Bright yellow/green foliage, great with darker companions, blue late summer flowers for the bees/butterfies. Annual cut back in early spring, same as Butterfly bush. I gave away a lot of new plants I propagated from the low lying self rooted branches this spring.

I love Indigofera amblyantha. I first saw it at Chanticleer. It's basically a non stop flowering woody plant.

My knockout roses have provided a fabulous show. They started out as 25 cent quarts off the Home Depot "unwatered" rack and have taken off to 3 ft tall in three years time. They bloom constantly from May through the first frost. I also enjoy my birchleaf spirea and razzle dazzle crepe myrtle.
