I love to explore garden centers for new plants. Coming from central PA I frequent Ashcomb's and Stauffer's. What garden centers to you find that offer great selections?

I too love Stauffers and I frequent Cashmans True Value in East Berlin....they have a great selection Spring thru Fall for perennials, roses, annuals, shrubs etc.

Nothing like an ad for Terrain! But I agree - great place for a total experience. Amazingly well kept, great selection of hardgoods. A bit pricey, especially for plants readily available elsewhere, but you are paying for all of that "eye candy" too. Combine it with a visit to Longwood Gardens and Chadds Ford Winery - lol

Just saw this thread and thought I'd mention Groff's. Very reasonable prices on perennials and pretty large selection. It's on street Rd. off 422 outside Oxford

In addition to Ashcombe's and SKH, Highland Gardens in Camp hill has a very good selection of perennials, shrubs, trees herbs, and annuals. Their variety of shade perennials is exceptional. Their staff is very knowledgable and very helpful especially on weekdays when they are not so busy.
Also went to Black Creek Nursery in East Earl last spring - great prices on annuals, perennials and vegetables - plan to go back this year.

I really like, Sugarbush Nursery in Mohnton. Not a big place, but she is new and into it. Decent prices, good plants.

In Adams County, Boyer Nurseries is a good place for trees and shrubs. Bought a river birch and fringe tree there and both have done well.

Nice drive through apple country, and right next to the "Round Barn" (really, round).

Consestoga Nursery in East Earl Pa ... then off to Black Creek Nursery. Between the two yo can come away with lots of great plants at a reasonable price.
