Help i need to know how i can get rid of this plant it is taking over my garden, i just bought my house and this plant is growing all over,it is even growing into my drain pipes. i life in a woodland setting and it is growing in the woods wild tried to keept it back behind the wood line butit just keepts on growing i do not really like to use a chemical treament but i do not know what to do some of these plants are very old and well established root system, and really large and painfull thorns HELP!!!!!!!

| you can cut it back as much as you can and paint herbicide on the open wounds. This way you use much less chemical, deliver directly to the circular system for fast action, and avoid having to dig too much. The roots will die and eventually decompose to enrich the soil whereas digging will disturb your established microherd of soil beneficial organisms. |
