Overseeding lawn in Chester County

Hi All,

Hurray Hurray!!!! It is finally raining!

Just aerated the lawn yesterday and we are going to overseed. We have a mix of sun and shade. I need suggestions on what type of seed to use. All input would be greatly appreciated. On the lawn forum I noticed a lot of talk about Rebel III. Has anyone ever put that down?

We always used a general seed .It likes shade,sun etc.

If you can find "Shady Nook" brand of grass seed, it is the best. Works well in sun and shade, and it is ORGANIC, not chem. coated like your run of the mill varieties that you will find at your local DIY store. I purchased Shady Nook at the Holod's True Value on Ridge Pike in Lafeyette Hill, PA (in between Philly and Conshohocken).
