I'm Drowning in Chester County

I've live here in this same house in Southern Chesco for over 40 years and I don't remember any year as wet as this. I have measured rain in my garden 24 of the last 30 days and have had unmeasurable shower amounts on 2 of the other 6. Total accumulation for the month about 23 inches. On 6 different times I have measured over 1.5 inches of rain in less than 2 hours. We got a .5 inch shower last evening and another .5 inches this morning. This is ridiculous!!

Can't begin to keep up with the weeding and can barely even get into the gardens because of the mud. Most of the plants seem okay but a lot of mold on some.

Tell me about it...Water got in my meter box and shorted it out...burning up the wires and the pole it was mounted on. My basement has water coming in where it never did before(so much for my woodshop). My roof is leaking. My sewage pump burned up because the water overan the cap and had it running so much. To make matters worse....the DW took the tractor and the weedwacker when she moved out in june(she doesn't even have a yard now). I feel a bit like C.C.R singing "Who'll stop the rain".

I guess the old addage is true........When it rains it pours.

The good part is that I didn't have to put a lot of work into separating the irises this year. The roots are so soft I was able to just yank out the excess around the edges.
