| As of today, August 2nd. We are a little over a month from the Fall 2007 Plant Swap, slated for Saturday, September 8th. Please post and let us know if you plan on attending so we have some idea how many people we will have this year.
*Cathy will be at the Supervisor’s Club around 10:30 and hope that everyone can be there by 12:00. *Each person will pick a spot for setting up their items for the swap. Please mark them, and bring a picture of your plant/bulb/seeds, if you have one. It helps everyone to know exactly what you have for trade. *We ask each person to bring a dish of some kind – salad, desert, side dish ect. for lunch.
*We eat lunch together and then the swap begins.
In order to have a successful plantswap, we need your participation!
You can email Cathy or Linda for directions to the Supervisor’s Club if you are new to the swap. Hope to see you all there!

| I plan on coming. I would like to get a hold of some "Snow on the Mountain". I know it's invasive, but I need it for a particular area on my property. Anybody have it?? I would like a big bunch of it. I listed the plants I have potted up on my trade page. I do have lots of other plants too, just not potted up. Hope everyone can make it. If you email me privately and I don't reply it's because sometimes I don't get garden web emails. |
|
| I am starting to make a list of people who have said that they are coming to the swap. Please let us know if you are coming so that we can update the list. I just had an inquiry from someone from New York, near Jamestown, and I hope they can join us too. Here is the list so far: Cathy and Ross Hope to hear from you! |

| Hi Linda actually the kids have a competition Friday night if they win they play at the Pitt game Saturday during the day then we're off to Upper Saint Clare band festival and since we are 2 of the 4 parents who chaperone we have to be there to ride buses help and feed them so you can see it will be a long weekend. I really would love to come but she is a senior this year so I don't want to miss a thing she does. They schedule a lot of these things last minute so I have to cancel other plans. Sorry Patty |

| Hi Everyone, I'm looking for a dwarf, yellow, coreopsis that will bloom early and keep going if I deadhead regularly. It can be all yellow or a yellow and red. I would like it for the front of the border, so it needs to be 12 inches or less. Please let me know if you have anything like this, and we can set up a trade. Thanks, Linda |

| Hi, all. Since there seems to be an ongoing count, I thought I'd update my status. I had planned to come to the swap but now, I can't be there because I'll be in Oklahoma City helping my daughter move. Have fun! |

| Hi Hoehum, I'm so happy your coming. I will bring some pots for you. Can't wait to see everyone. I hope you all will have room in your cars to take home plants, I'm bringing a lot, LOL. And I don't want to bring any of my own plants home. I guess I should mention, Ross is bringing his own plants this year, LOL. He can get his own tickets instead of me giving some of mine up to him to pick his own plants. We both love gardening and have different likes and dislikes. Cathy |

| Anybody heard from Gillian this year??? Where are ya girl? |
|
| If I bring baked beans is there any electric available to keep them hot? Also would like to do cornbread or corn muffins to go with. My plant list is small. Most of the things growing in my garden right now are too big to pot up this time of year. Double Sunburst Coreopsis Lunaria and Ventricosa seeds for naturalizing For anyone who has a real jones for the invasives besides my flat of Adjuga, I also have Valerian, Lunaria, Oregano that could be dug up if interested. |
|
| Murial, your beans will be fine. We have electric at the shelter. Cornbread or corn muffins sounds wonderful. I just wanted to post a note about Door Prizes. Anyone who is interested in bringing a Door Prize will be included in the Door Prize drawing. When I posted the original updated info regarding the Plant Swap, I wasn't sure we were going to do Door Prizes but after talking to Cathy about it, we are going to do them again this year. I always try to paint something for my contribution to the DP's and this year, I will be bringing a hand painted (cover), leather Gardener's Journal. Let me know if you have any questions. Can't wait until Saturday to see everyone! Linda |

| Hi Linda, I haven't been active on the forums for a while, but I am definitely interested in hearing about this plant swap. I can't make it this year, but is there maybe a mailing list so I can find out about next year's? Or should I just check here on the forum? Thanks so much, |
