Our Babysitter cut down my Maximillian Sunflowers!!!

I realize she thought she was being helpful by cutting down the 50 or so stalks that were growing around our mailbox. Ok, so there were only a dozen or so of the 3" diameter flowers. Sure..anyone could miss those. Those and the hundreds of other blooms that were getting ready to open. So she's not a gardener. Very understandable. Mid 20's? Still young enough to not consider asking before doing. My fault entirely I am sure.

Am I bitter? Well, maybe just a tad.

hmmmm...Maybe I should go put netting over the Lavender that is starting to bloom...

This may sound dumb -
I would be more upset that she was out in the garden when she should be babysitting. Just tell her that he job is to watch the kids.
Time for a new sitter, \
anyway - sunflowers can be planted next year!
