| Can I plant pansy, viola or snapdragon seeds now in zone 6? I'd like to plant some annual seeds for fall blooming and I think that violas are pretty good about re-seeding, but I'm relatively new to this zone and so unsure. What other seeds would I be able to direct sow for some end of season color?
Thanks for your help! |

| Celinasews, I'm not sure there are any seeds you can plant now for fall color. If I'm wrong on this, I'm sure someone will tell us. Your best bet is to buy pansies now. They will bloom most or all of the winter in zone 6, depending on how harsh our winter is this year. You can also buy other fall blooming plants for color during the next few months. But I'm recommending plants not seeds as your best bet. |

| Thanks Loretta. I'm not sure where I got the idea of planting seeds- wishful thinking I guess. None of the nurseries in town had any flower seeds, and they all looked at me like I was a little crazy when I asked, so, there you go! I'm looking forward to the pansies! |
