Anyone familiar with Blister Cress?

Hi PA gardeners! I was hoping someone could help me out with some info. on Blister Cress (Erysimum Perofskianum- aka Siberian Windflower).
I bought one this year and the nursery I shop at had it in the perennial section. I just realized the tag that came with the plant says its a biennial. I did some looking around on the internet and found that it is grown usually as an annual or biennial, but one site stated that it self seeds and that the seed may grow the next year even though the plant is not winter hardy.
Just wondering if anyone has grown it and what your experience with it is. Also if anyone has harvested seeds from it? I think it might be too late for that (only has a few flowers left) but I'm not sure. It's a great plant- long-blooming and very fragrant; I'd love to have it again next year.
Thanks!!

A friend of mine grew Windflower years ago, and it self seeded very prettily all around her garden.
