I was trying to get my gardening stuff organized in the garage for storing tubers, etc. and came across the tag from last year's dahlias. I had forgotten that when I purchased them and the first year they bloomed they were a lemony yellow. This year the center is yellowish but the majority of the flower is a peachy color. Is that normal for dahlias? Anyone else have that happen before? I'm not complaining, the color is nice..I actually like it better. I just thought it was strange to have the color turn out so different from one year to the next.
