If you haven't already planted I would just go ahead and do it. I plant later, but that's because I am a procrastinator, not because it's the best time to plant. I think if the soil is too warm they bulbs will not start growing, and that risks rot since they have likely been weakened and beat up a little bit during the storage and selling process. But I'm sure the soil has cooled a bit and roots should start growing quickly.
