Lilac Blooming times in Central PA

For a photography shoot next spring, I need to get an accurate idea of when lilac bushes bloom in the Huntingdon/Lewistown/Big Valley area. The kind of bush I'm talking about is those big old-fashioned ones with purple flowers planted next to farmhouses. Would anyone from there please let me know a range of time (ie. May 10-15)? Many thanks!

RE: Lilac Blooming times in Central PA

My daughter's college graduation was on May 14 2004, and she had a vase on her table with fresh-cut lilacs. We are a little further south in Bedford County, but the bloom time should be very close. I would think you can expect flowers around the middle of May. Hope this helps.
