So Why Did I Stop by Produce Junction...

...and pick up a few Christmas Cactus plants???? LOL So, I'm giving away plants and I just have to fill up some shelves with other things! I know you all know the feeling! Anyway, I was able to pick up some beautiful sizable plants loaded with blooms for $1.00 to $4.00 a pot. They had a peachy(?)pink color, but it was hard to see the actual color because they were unopened buds. I'll have to make a more conscious effort not to be on that road again..LOL.

They sound beautiful! I've been drawn to Christmas Cactus lately in the stores.

I have one that was given to me on the birth of my youngest child, almost 28 years ago.

LOL, That place is dangerous. That's where I got my prized possessions- two gorgeous variegated Hebes this past Easter. I'm hoping they last the winter!!!

I live near there! My crisper is usually not big enough for the veggies I buy there, LOL.

bluetarski, it's like a little market where you can buy fresh veggies, fruits, and sometimes plants, flowers, etc. You stand in line and pay cash only. Not organic but local and usually cheaper than at the grocery.

I'll try to put directions in the link.

Here is a link that might be useful: Produce Junction on google maps

Produce Junction is selling plants again -- primroses for a dollar, I think, some white hydrangeas for $6, a bunch of tropical plants.
I was tempted but I stuck to veggies & fruit.

Have you ever tried Jim and Ralph's right up the road? They don't have as great a selection of plants but I prefer them for their produce.

Never heard of them -- are they further up the hill on 29N?
