Then and now again!

Don't know if I have enough pictures but here goes...

Yucca (Variegated)maybe April 2008,I don't think these get as big as Y.Aloifolia...

March 1,2009-The strong March sun and cold nights have caused it's color to explode!

About a year later....March 5, 2010

I believe that is the top of it with the greenhouse collapsed from 15"+ snow last Feb.(2011)

Here it is,nicely recovered from it's run in with the roof of the G-house and all that snow!

Oct 3,2011.

One of my favorite plants but yet I often forget to look at it.

Wow, thats a great looking yucca. I really like the variegation on it. Definitely not one of the more common variegated yuccas! The only variegated yuccas I see here are Y. Filamentosa and Y. Gloriosa.
Any idea on the species? It does look a little bit like Aloifolia to me.

Very nice yucca, I have been wanting one of those. Yuccado has them listed as Y. Gloriosa growing to 8'. Very nice to see they are able to come back from your winter mishap!

Gloriosa is a much larger plant,you can see the smaller
variegated Yucca to the right of the Y.Gloriosa(flowering)in this pic.

Thats a nice Gloriosa. It could be mistaken for an agave very easily!
