I have two volunteer palms that appeared in my yard (well, one was actually in my Key Lime pot) last year. I potted both for a while and then put one of those in-ground where I wouldn't mind having a palm in the future. Both are obviously still in the grass stage of growth, but I was wondering how soon I could get an identification of the type of palm? I have my fingers crossed for a couple of Sabals, but they really could be any number of palms that are grown around here.
