Queen Palm

Hi, I am in zone 7a/7b, I am currently growing a Windmill Palm, Musa Ice cream, 3 Musa Basjoos, soon will be growing a Mule Palm, and possibly a sabal birmingham in Southampton, NY! I want to plant a queen palm outside. Would it survive without protection here? Or if not, what should I do to protect it? (Bringing it in is not an option).

No way would it survive without protection, once it gets to about 18f then they croak. You could plant them as annuals?

I recommend you dont even bother. Just focus on the cold hardy plants that will look good and wont require extensive work to just keep alive without looking good.

just my opinion, if your dead set on growing queens then more power to ya!

Well, I would use Christmas Lights, mulch and burlap at most.

Does anyone think that Christmas Lights, mulch and burlap would be enough to protect a queen palm?
