Mule palm vs Pindo Palm (hardiness)

Hi, I am in zone 7a/7b, I am currently growing a Windmill Palm, Musa Ice cream, 3 Musa Basjoos, soon will be possibly growing a Mule Palm or pindo palm, and possibly a sabal birmingham in Southampton, NY! My question is, which palm is hardier. the pindo palm, or mule palm? Based on this, I will buy one or the other.

THe Pindo is the hardier of the two. The Mule is Hardier then the queen.

Pindo is hardier, but probably only by about 4 degrees or so. Mules grow faster, so they can recover from damage much more quickly. They also look a lot more tropical than Pindos. Neither is fully hardy in your zone, so I'd go with the Mule palm.

Which would be the easiest to protect? Or rather which would this protection method work best on? Christmas lights, burlap, and mulch? Or would it be succesfull on both? I would not cover the fronds.
